The ones that are intimate, powerful and make us rethink and transform our lives.

I write what I like to read, or what I’d like to read.

And what I love are stories of encounters that require each character to undergo a transformation, to let go of something that they can never get back.

But don’t worry – my books have happy endings!

I don’t call it ‘romance’, because I don’t follow the conventions of the genre to the letter and I often incorporate elements from other genres depending on the story (courtroom drama, action thriller, crime novel, women’s fiction, etc.).

For me, the story and the characters come before everything else: structure, genre conventions, tropes or even key plot points.
